In the ages old cosmic spanning battle between the ALIENS and the PREDATORS it appears that one of two tireless combatants has acquired a tactical advantage over the other. In THRALL WORLD terminology that stands for a franchise reboot. Fans of the other-worldly safari hunters will be happy to know that the PREDATORS will be returning to the big screen and this time back on their own.

Director Robert Rodriguez has taken on the 20th Century Fox PREDATOR franchise and creating a newly rebooted “PREDATORS.”

According to the soon to be very busy Mr. Rodriguez:

“I’m going to be able to shoot my upcoming Machete here, a sci-fi action film called Nervewrackers, a re-boot of the Predator series called Predators, and a couple of smaller movies called Sin City 2 and The Jetsons.”

Read more HERE.

So I guess that settles the question of any new ALIENS VS. PREDATORS sequels.

I had no idea A MACHETE movie was seriously being considered. Unless I hear otherwise I’ll go ahead and assume that the MACHETE movie in question is from the “fake” trailer in GRINDHOUSE.

And ‘SIN CITY 2…’ Last we heard on THRALL WORLD, ANGELINA JOLIE was in talks to take on the lead or at the least a key role. Read more on that HERE. I also heard there are some studio issues being ironed out. As soon as something is confirmed we will post it.
