Stephen Norrington has signed on to write and direct a reinvention of “The Crow,” based on the comic created by James O’Barr.

“Whereas [The orginal ‘CROW’ movie] was gloriously gothic and stylized, the new movie will be realistic, hard-edged and mysterious, almost documentary-style.”

I’ve always liked CARLYLE but this seems a bit of an odd choice for him. I never “got” the whole ‘STARGATE’ series from the start. Probably because I thought the original movie was kinda lame. Hard to believe the series has lasted something like 50 seasons with spinoffs and everything. Must be doing something right.
