The family of a woman killed in an Interstate 57 crash involving a driver for a VH-1 reality dating show filed a lawsuit Friday in Cook County seeking more than $100,000.

As mentioned in a previous THRALL WORLD posting:

Kevetta Davis, 19, a Southern Illinois University student from Chicago, and another woman were killed Sept. 26 when the car they were in was struck by a truck carrying equipment for the VH-1 show “Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels.”

Crew member Dennis Hernandez allegedly fell asleep at the wheel and crossed the median near West Frankfort, colliding with the car. Named in the suit are Hernandez, VH-1 Music First, Viacom Inc. and 51 Minds Entertainment.

A couple days after the crash, BRET MICHAEL’s pulled the plug on the production of the show. Read more about that HERE. I’m guessing he’s back at it although I haven’t heard anything about it other than the lawsuit.
