The new album from MARILYN MANSON, entitled “The High End Of Low”, sold 49,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 4 on The Billboard 200 chart.
Also, a BBC reporter has just posted an article about the “strangest interview ever” that he conducted with M. Manson. By ARCH DANDY standards that would have to be pretty strange… Check out the audio of the interview below.
The interview sounds to me like Manson is either trashed or severely hungover and actually reminds me of my daily typical conversation between myself and my MARAZENE MACHINE partner in crime NIKK SKUM. I’m actually suprised we don’t end up getting more of this from Manson every now and then.

The THRALL WORLD gist: trial was supposed to be underway by now but lawyers for Pogo said they needed some more time to go over details. That would have pushed the trial into June of this year. Mansons new album is out and tour dates are booked so that doesn’t work out.
A lawyer for Marilyn Manson said today that trial of a lawsuit filed by a former band member seeking $20 million from the goth rocker should be delayed until next year because Manson is releasing a new CD and about to go on tour.

Lawyers involved in a lawsuit brought by a former member of Marilyn Manson’s band against the goth rocker must be ready for trial March 2, a judge said today in granting a two-week delay in the case.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael L. Stern denied a motion by Stephen Bier’s attorneys for a postponement of up to four months of Monday’s scheduled start of the trial. He said their accounting expert needed that much time to review new Manson band financial records they say they obtained just last week from the defense.

The original lineup of LIMP BIZKIT — Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto, and DJ Lethal — is back from an eight-year hiatus.
Durst and Borland said in a joint statement, “We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other.”

The shock-rocker’s camp has unveiled a witness wish list that includes his ex-wife and his Nine Inch Nails-fronting mentor to testify on his behalf in an upcoming court showdown with estranged keyboardist Stephen Bier.
Bier, otherwise known as Madonna Wayne Gacy, sued Manson for more than $20 million last year, claiming Manson siphoned off millions of dollars in band revenue.
