AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE have begun searching for a real life human to portray CARL in an upcoming live action episode of the Adult Swim show. For anyone who’s seen the show you know this isn’t as easy a task as it sounds.
The search for a real life Carl will begin in San Diego at the Omni Hotel during the Sand Diego Comic Con on Saturday, July 26th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Dave Willis, the co creator of the show and the voice of Carl will be on hand to aid in the judging.
The FOX network has won the rights to a new-style variety show that will star Ozzy Osbourne and his brood. FOX will produce at least six episodes of the show.
A 25-second snippet of video showing actor Verne Troyer and a former girlfriend having sex, available online over the past couple of days, is all the world will see of the tape — for now.
Troyer is most famous for his role as Mini-Me in two of the “Austin Powers” movies and also co-stars in the new movie “The Love Guru.” He claims that the sex tape he made with a former girlfriend was stolen from his home months ago.
George Carlin, the influential comedian whose routines used profanity, scatology and absurdity to point out the silliness and hypocrisy of human life, has died. He was 71.
“Bruno,” Sacha Baron Cohen’s follow-up to “Borat,” has been scheduled by Universal Pictures for a May 15, 2009, release.
Like the title character in the hit “Borat,” “Bruno” is based on a skit character — this time an Austrian faux fashionista — from Cohen’s former HBO series, “Da Ali G Show.”

Legendary KISS bassist, Gene Simmons, was fired from Donald Trump’s show “The Apprentice: Celebrity Edition” on this weeks episode.
Trump seemed mildy annoyed jockeying for Supreme Alpha on his own show and even gave Simmons a couple of openings to acknowledge his approach to the project at hand, a Kodak marketing campaign, wasn’t the best.
Simmons, however, insisted his way was the right way and even quipped that Kodak was wrong (!) before Trump used his own trademarked equivalent of the battle-axe, ‘You’re fired’, on the rock star.
