THOR has been filming for a few months now and the first official still from the movie with CHRIS HEMSWORTH as the Norse God Of Thunder has finally made it to the web – probably to help tease us further about one of the other big Marvel movies, ‘IRON MAN 2′, which is on deck for release next weekend.

SCREAM 4 director WES CRAVEN on how involved Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette are (reprising SCREAMS 1-3 characters; Sidney, Gale, and Dewey respectively) versus new characters:
“It’s a total integration of those three and new kids. The story of Sid, Gale, and Dewey is very much a part of the movie.”

“She has been off by herself and living her own life, and she’s even written a book that has gotten a lot of critical acclaim. Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures are moving ahead with a sequel to Clash of the Titans, which the studio would like as early as spring, 2012. But they will make the journey without Louis Leterrier, who will not return for an encore as director. Sam Worthington will return, as well as most every other character that survived.
Greg Berlanti will write the story and the studio is already canvassing the agencies for a writer and director who can whip the movie into shape to shoot before Worthington makes Avatar 2. Leterrier will remain peripherally involved as executive producer.
Ice Cube has joined Woody Harrelson and Ben Foster to star in Oren Moverman’s police drama “Rampart,” centered on the scandal at the LAPD’s division in the 1990s. [This] Project reunites Harrelson and Foster with Moverman, who directed them in “The Messenger,” his helming debut.
Harrelson’s set to portray the lead character, an LAPD officer on a redemptive journey as he finds himself embroiled in scandal. Ice Cube and Foster will also play LAPD officers.
The [Rampart] scandal grew out of severe police misconduct in the late 1990s in the Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums (CRASH) anti-gang program including unprovoked shootings, beatings, planting of evidence, framing of suspects, stealing and dealing narcotics, bank robbery, perjury and covering up evidence.
The Rampart Scandal is notable in popular culture because at least three Rampart police were found to be on the payroll of hip-hop mogul Marion “Suge” Knight of Death Row Records, a convicted felon with known ties to the Bloods gang. Moreover, detective testimony and a wrongful death lawsuit filed on April 16, 2007, holds Rampart CRASH officers Nino Durden, Rafael Pérez and David Mack responsible for the 1997 drive-by murder of multi platinum-selling hip hop recording artist Notorious B.I.G.

THE CULT will perform its classic album “Love” in its entirety during its tour of Australia and New Zealand in May.
The third entry based on the Japanese horror movies is being called “Ring 3D.” David Loucka, who wrote the now-shooting thriller “Dream House” for Morgan Creek, has been tapped to pen the script.
IMDB plot synopsis: Set 30 years before the original, The Ring Three sees a young Samara Morgan cast away to a psychotic unit, thrust away from normality. Mentally unstable and in-animate, Samra vows to get revenge on her tormentors before she is tragically killed and dispersed down a well, however, unbeknown to her twisted parents and local pretty-girl Mary-Elizabeth Winstead, a curse is about to be born, a curse which will later claim many lives, as the vengeful spirit of Samara is born.
The new film is being fashioned as more teen-centric than the first, and though the logline is being kept under wraps, the aim is to reinvent the franchise. One potential scenario involves teens finding a VHS player that still works.
The plot of the original film centered on a young journalist investigating a mysterious videotape that seemed to cause the death of anyone within a week of viewing it.

The latest chapter in the Zombie Apocalypse stars; Alan Van Sprang, Kenneth Welsh, Kathleen Munroe, Devon Bostick, Richard Fitzpatrick, Stefano Colacitti, and Athena Karkanis.
The film centers on a cozy Plum Island off the coast of Delaware where two families are locked in a struggle for power, as it has been for generations. The O’Flynn’s, headed by patriarch Patrick O’Flynn (Kenneth Welsh) approach the zombie plague with a shoot-to-kill attitude. The Muldoons, headed by Shamus Muldoon (Richard Fitzpatrick), feel that the zombies should be quarantined and kept ‘alive,’ in hopes that a solution will someday be found.
The O’Flynn’s, who are clearly outnumbered, are forced to exile Patrick by boat to the mainland, where he meets up with a band of soldiers, headed by Guardsman Sarge (Alan Van Sprang). They join forces and return to the island, to find that the zombie plague has fully gripped the divided community.

Lionsgate has announced that Cary Elwes will reprise his role of Dr. Lawrence Gordon from the first Saw movie in Saw VII 3D, coming to theaters on October 22.
