Plot synopsis: Sang-hyun (played by top Korean star Song Kang-ho of The Host) is a priest who cherishes life; so much so that he selflessly volunteers for a secret vaccine development project meant to eradicate a deadly virus. But the virus takes the priest, and a blood transfusion is urgently ordered up for him. The blood he receives is infected, so Sang-hyun lives—but now exists as a vampire. Warner Brothers is giving Zack Snyder’s director’s cut of Watchmen—which will have an additional 25 minutes of footage, including the death of a supporting character—a limited theatrical run one week before Comic-Con International in San Diego.
The cut will screen in Los Angeles, New York, Minneapolis and Dallas before the movie is released on Blu-ray and DVD on July 21.
Go see it if you get a chance. Better than the recent ‘Terminator Salvation’ movie. Better than the new ‘Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen’ (judging by the reviews), and billions upon billions of times better than the pitiful ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’. WATCHMEN is THEE super hero movie of the year! The critics were abhorantly WRONG about the movie.
Trust me. The missing squid is not going to ruin the Watchmen movie experience for you.

Terminator Salvation took place in 2018, when Connor takes the lead in the human resistance while trying to come to terms with a new kind of cyborg who believes he is human. The film’s epilogue suggests that Connor will continue to lead the resistance in other parts of the world after destroying Skynet’s San Francisco headquarters.
They might be right. Seems like the studios have been hot to get a lot of the news re: sequels out a la Transformers, Deadpool, etc. but things have been a little quiet since ‘Terminator: Salvation’ hit theaters…

“We finished shooting in December after only 40 days. Now the live action is being merged with CG animation and motion-capture creatures, and then transferred into 3-D.”

According to concert promoter Marek Lieberberg Konzertagentur GmbH & Co.KG, FEAR FACTORY’s entire German tour — which was supposed to take place between August 3 and August 12 — has been called off.
Just days ago, original FEAR FACTORY drummer Raymond Herrera commented on thether or not Fear Factory was “done”.
“We’re [Christian and I] actually still in FEAR FACTORY. There’s a big legal battle going on right now. Essentially, what’s happened is Dino [Cazares, former FEAR FACTORY guitarist] and Burt [C. Bell, FEAR FACTORY singer] have become friends again and they decided to start a new band, and furthermore, they decided to call it FEAR FACTORY. They never communicated with us about it, and they’re acting like there was never any contract, but there’s four members that are Fear Factory Incorporated — which is the four of us — so it’s almost like them two against us two, so it’s kind of a stalemate. Moving forward, I don’t know what’s gonna happen with the trademark, so to speak. It’s kind of a weird situation, but it’s not a situation that we created that was weird.”

Needless to say, when you have a country run by a government that does not have a genuine love for freedom of speech, it can make it difficult to obtain news and updates in any sensible or credible fashion. But that hasn’t stopped blogger NICO PITNEY from giving it a solid shot. Check out his collected video and photos of a very tumultuous Iran HERE. His tribute to the Iranian Uprising is quite possibly the best on the web (and if there’s better someone please comment me a link). On any other day of the week I would call the web outlet Nico writes for a bunch of people who see voting irregularities whenever their candidate of choice doesn’t win. But as someone once said, even a broken clock is correct twice a day.
When reports first began to come out of Iran of civil unrest it was difficult to tell how widespread the unrest was. But video and images from the past several days paint a much clearer picture and there can be no doubt. People are being hurt and in some cases killed with the violence in an apparent “just getting warmed up” cycle. And things will likely get much worse than they are before they get better.
IRAN: Peaceful Protest
The major networks coverage of Iran during their historical identity crisis has been minimal – but that is understandable to a degree. There is absolutely NO legitimate foreign press being allowed anywhere in Iran at this time.
In response to this you have seen many Iranians turn to two social networking sites, Youtube and Twitter, to get news out about what’s going on on the streets (Youtube video) and information on what, where, when, how, and why etc. (Twitter). For their part, Youtube has even relaxed content restrictions and Twitter has foregone maintenance schedules in an effort to keep the viral tools available to Iranians.

We support all of our Iranian brothers and sister during this time of confusion and sorrow. They face a very uphill battle. We only wish we could do more.

Mousavi has rejected the election results and has adamantly claimed voting irregularities (he supposedly lost in his home region).

One of the movies we here at THRALL WORLD have been keeping a close eye on is Batman reboot director CHRISTOPHER NOLAN’s follow-up to THE DARK KNIGHT; ‘INCEPTION’. From MEMENTO to THE PRESTIGE to the dark knights brilliant restart; Nolan has proven to be a story teller second to none and a trip down sci-fi lane sounds pretty darned exciting to us.

Reports have surfaced that filming on Christopher Nolan’s Inception has already begun in Tokyo, Japan.
Directed by Christopher Nolan (THE DARK KNIGHT, THE PRESTIGE, BATMAN BEGINS, MEMENTO), ‘INCEPTION’ is scheduled to hit theaters on July 16th, 2010 and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Michael Caine, Cillian Murphy, Marion Cotillard.
