“OINK!” Indeed! Fashionable Pig-Flu-Prevention… Sort of like a overly paranoid germaphobe meets an overly exuberant SLIPKNOT fan…
Graphic designers and online retailers are offering swinophobes everywhere the chance to make a fashion statement — even as they ward off the deadly bug.

‘X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE’ director GAVIN HOOD on working with HUGH JACKMAN:
“He carries the movie and it’s all about how his character is formed and how he comes to lose his memory. So for the first time both he and I were both exploring the emotional history of the character.”
On deciding on which of the billion mutants in the X-Universe to bring in:
“There are certain characters that fans have been clamoring for, the most notable of which is Gambit. Hugh always said they were looking for an opportunity to bring him into the franchise in a way that felt organic and justified and not just bolted on.”
On spawning a possible GAMBIT or DEADPOOL movie:
“‘X-Men 1′ led to ‘X-Men 2′ and if ‘Wolverine’ could lead to another movie, whether it be a Wolverine movie or a Gambit movie, of course that’s good, not only for the studio but for the fans, but it all depends on how people respond to this movie.”
Check out some cool new video interviews with Jackman, Liev Schreiber (Sabretooth), Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), and Taylor Kitsch (Gambit) HERE.

DieTrich Thrall: Man of Mystery <-- (that's sarcasm people)
1,000,000 Views: Thank You!!!
Source: Here and There
1,000,000 views in about 10 months. Hard to believe but true. Sounds like a lot. It kinda is when you consider that I have largely kept the site on the down-lo while I try and work out the kinks. I still consider this to be an early early BETA mode version for It’s A Thrall World but the steady drive-by readership doesn’t hurt.
For those of you wondering, It’s A Thrall World has taken the pace of the bulletins I used to post on a semi-regular basis on my Myspace page. It’s sort of a blog / webzine / news aggregator combo plus on a beer-filled night of “fukk ME!? No fukk YOU dood!!” all in RAGING Thrall-O-Vision.
A love-fest of unspeakable apocalyptic Tragedy, Consequences, and All That Could’ve Been…
Sort of a when Terror, Death, and Destruction met Peace, Love, and thee Dove and had thee red-headed Anti-Christ-Alien step-child that ended up destroying thee world but then realized it was too lonely without all of thee stupidity and brought thee world and everyone in it back but wiped everyones memory…
Something like that…
Now then… if anybody needs me I’ll be hanging out in my swine/bird/human flu-proof, rogue-state nuke proof, global economic-catastrophy proof, suicide bomber proof, american idol proof, obama 747 flyby the Chicago skyline proof, crossing the street without looking both ways proof, C+C (chips + cheese) loaded bunker…
The recently confirmed ‘PREDATORS’ reboot is scheduled for a July 7, 2010 release.
Rodriguez himself also confirmed his involvement with ‘SIN CITY 2′, a sci-fi action film called ‘NERVEWRACKERS’, and ‘MACHETE’ (from the “fake” trailer in GRINDHOUSE), the trailer of which you can view below:

On touring and he possibility of a new album:
“The first shows are booked for June and August, but that’s really all we’re doing right now. We might be hitting Australia in August too. The main thing is to make a new record.”
Universal is resurrecting “Drop Dead Fred,” this time as a starring vehicle for Russell Brand. Dennis McNicholas, one of the writers of Universal’s upcoming “Land of the Lost,” will pen the remake.
The 1991 original starred Phoebe Cates as a wallflower who loses her job and husband during the course of a lunch hour. Forced to live back home, she’s reunited with her childhood imaginary friend (Brit actor Rik Mayall), who promises to help but causes more havoc.
I was in Minneapolis at the time they were filming this which is probably the only reason I ever would have ended up watching it back in the day. It was the talk of the town at the time circa 1991. Sort of like a happier not-so-gloomy version of BEETLEJUICE.

Workers and residents evacuated themselves from several downtown Manhattan buildings Monday morning after a low-flying Boeing 747 was spotted above the city’s skyline.
The aircraft was a White House plane taking part in a government-sanctioned photo shoot, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
People reported seeing the plane circle over the Upper New York Bay near the Statue of Liberty before it flew up the Hudson River. It was accompanied by two F-16s.
At a news conference Monday afternoon, Mayor Michael Bloomberg expressed outrage that City Hall had been unable to warn New Yorkers of the flight in advance.
“First thing is, I’m annoyed — furious is a better word — that I wasn’t told,” he said. He called the aviation administration’s decision to classify details about the flight as sensitive and nonpublic “ridiculous” and “poor judgment.”
An administration official says a presidential Boeing 747 and a fighter jet flew low near ground zero in New York City Monday because the White House Military Office wanted to update its file photo of the president’s plane near the Statue of Liberty.
The official THRALL WORLD reaction / subsequent follow-up question: uhm wtf!? Are these the same people keeping track of the SWINE FLU outbreak??
Since It’s A Thrall World after all and we’re only trying to help out over here, how about (as a more obvious suggestion):
Dear Mr. President,
We suggest adding a quality graphics artist to the White House staff so maybe next time they can just zap thee little plane right in there next to Lady Liberty’s torch with thee Photoshop and save the peoples from the flashback-high-blood pressure of the post-9/11 experience…
Reunion tour includes all four original members; Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips, and Brian Marshall. A new album is also in the works. Check out all the dirty details in a new article/interview with Creed HERE.

New STAR TREK movie right around the corner. LEONARD NIMOY talks all about it HERE. A few excerpts below.
Leonard Nimoy on what to expect from the new ‘STAR TREK’ movie:
“It’s a story that’s never been told. And I think it’s told very, very well.”
“The script really captures the essence of those characters and brings them together in a very entertaining, very exciting way.”
On ZACHARY QUINTO:
“I think very highly of Zack Quinto. I think he’s a very good actor. What I’ve seen of the movie, I think he does a wonderful job, as does the rest of the crew. I think they’re all very, very good in their roles.”
On ZACHARY QUINTO playing SPOCK:
“The Spock that he’s playing is a Spock that existed before the Spock that I played. He was younger, not quite so experienced, and therefore somewhat different.”
The J.J. ABRAMS directed remake hits theaters May 8th, 2009 and stars; John Cho, Ben Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Winona Ryder, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin … Pavel Chekov, Eric Bana, and Leonard Nimoy.
