Here’s what the deep-pocketed fan received (provided they still have enough for transportation to and from Long Beach, CA) for their 20G:
-Signed CD/DVD and digital download.
-T-shirt**
-A signed DW Snare from the 2008 Nine Inch Nails tour.
-*Maynard James Keenan, Mark Mothersbaugh from DEVO and I take you miniature golfing and then drop you off on the side of the freeway (all filmed and posted on youtube of course).
-I give you a tour of Long Beach. I’ll show ya my first apartment, the coffee shop on 2nd St where my buddy paid Dave Grohl $40 to rip up some tile just weeks before he joined “Nirvana”. I’ll show you all my old stomping grounds….the Vandals old rehearsal spot, the house Quackenbush and I use to rent, where to go for the best tacos, Snoop Dogg’s high school, etc….
for an extra 50 bucks I’ll show you where Adrian and Tom from “No Doubt” live. For another $25 I’ll throw in Brooks from Bad Religion and Eric from NOFX’s houses too!
We then spend the night at the Queen Mary and take the “Ghost Tour” (seperate rooms of course…..no spooning).
-I write 2 songs about you (or if you want 1 can be about you and the other one can be about whatever or whomever you’d like) and it goes on my next record (you can sing back up on them, clap, play the drums, triangle solo…whatever you want).
-Drum lesson OR foot and back massage (once again…..couples welcome).
- Pick any 3 items out of my closet.

Wheee I’m so there! I’m one of those not-quite-so-hardcore-yet-fanatical-just-the-same-gamers who generally stays a generation behind on systems. Which basically means I won’t be in the market for the PS3 until the PS4 comes out. So major kudos to Sony for making my month.
Ford said Tuesday it will cover payments of up to $700 each month for up to a year on any new Ford, Lincoln or Mercury vehicle if consumers lose their jobs. The program runs until June 1.
Hours later, GM said it will make a similar offer. GM’s new CEO, Fritz Henderson, said the company will make up to nine car payments of $500 each for customers who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own.
Customers must qualify for state unemployment to be eligible for the program. The program starts April 1 and runs until April 30.
As Paramount Pictures readies the May 8 release of its “Star Trek” franchise relaunch, the studio is moving forward with a sequel, and has hired Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof to pen the screenplay.
J.J. Abrams, who directed and produced the latest chapter, is on board to produce the follow-up alongside his Bad Robot partner Bryan Burk. No decision has been made yet on whether Abrams will return behind the camera for the sequel.

A sequel to ‘EASTERN PROMISES’ which starred VIGGO MORTENSEN appears to be in the early stage of development. No promises but this is what director DAVID CRONENBERG told MTV:
“We are moving forward with it,” Cronenberg told MTV News in an exclusive chat. “We all are excited about the idea of doing a sequel.”
Read more HERE unless you have not seen the movie ‘EASTERN PROMISES’ yet as the article contains a MAJOR spoiler.
But go check out the original. Good stuffs. Almost everything I’ve seen of Viggo post LORD OF THE RINGS has been excellent (HISTORY OF VIOLENCE, APPALOOSA).

The THRALL WORLD gist: trial was supposed to be underway by now but lawyers for Pogo said they needed some more time to go over details. That would have pushed the trial into June of this year. Mansons new album is out and tour dates are booked so that doesn’t work out.
A lawyer for Marilyn Manson said today that trial of a lawsuit filed by a former band member seeking $20 million from the goth rocker should be delayed until next year because Manson is releasing a new CD and about to go on tour.

This is a “collaborative artistic re-envisioning” of the film featuring international artists and animators who are invited to select their favorite scenes and recreate them through the animated medium of their choice (CG, stop-motion, etc.). For an example, check out the trailer below. The organizers of this endeavor are still seeking contributions and have extended their deadline to April 24th. For more details, visit NOTLDR.com.
The official website seems a bit out of date but the trailer below shows that the project is moving right along. From the Youtube trailer posting:
