New York City, NY – December 14th, 2008 – HANZEL UND GRETYL will hit Europe in January for a string of shows. The following dates are confirmed:

Jan. 22  Eindhoven, Netherlands – Dynamo
Jan. 23  Leeuwarden, Netherlands – Romein 
Jan. 24  Oss, Netherlands – Groene Engel 
Jan. 25  Templeuve, Belgium – La Mare Aux Diables 
Jan. 26  Mulhouse, France – Le Noumatrouf 
Jan. 27  Paris, France – La Scene Bastille
Jan. 28  Toulouse, France – Havana Cafe 
Jan. 30  Perpignan, France – Le Crock ’More 
Jan. 31  Barcelona, Spain – Salamandra 2

The European tour will mark the bands first as headliner since their UK debut in 2007 as direct support for CRADLE OF FILTH. It also follows the bands recent overseas performance in Moscow, Russia this past September, a headlining performance at the 2008 HOLLYWOOD ROCK CONVENTION, and the completion of the bands North American ‘DÖPPEL ÜBER DEATH’ Tour in June of this year.

 

New York City’s time traveling teutonic twosome, Kaiser Von Loopy and Vas Kallas, continue to tour in support of their METROPOLIS Records masterwerk, “2012: ZWÄNZIG ZWÖLF“, a concept album based on the existing Mayan belief that the world will end in the year 2012. “2012: ZWÄNZIG ZWÖLF” was released on February 5th, 2008.

 
A perpetually touring underground favorite, Hanzel Und Gretyl have released 6 full length albums and EPs since 1995 and have toured worldwide with the likes of Ministry, Marilyn Manson, Cradle of Filth, Rammstein, Slipknot, Rob Halford, The Genitorturers, Prong, and Clutch.
