
‘JUSTICE LEAGUE’ Update: GEORGE MILLER No Longer Involved, Recast Expected

Appearing on Sydney-based morning talk show “Sunrise” this morning, Aussie filmmaker George Miller confirmed he’s no longer involved in the “Justice League” in any capacity.
If the project does get going again, he expects that it’ll be recast.

In a February 2008 THRALL WORLD posting, GEORGE MILLER was reported as being involved with the JUSTICE LEAGUE movie and was planning a 2009 release. Then in an August 2008 THRALL WORLD posting the movie seemed unlikely with WARNER BROTHERS retooling their DC comic book movies after the success of THE DARK KNIGHT. Miller’s October 2008 announced involvement with a futuristic ODYSSEY retelling that would star BRAD PITT seemed to confirm that any JUSTICE LEAGUE movie has, at best, been temporarily sidelined.
