
BRAD PITT, GEORGE MILLER Teaming Up For ‘THE ODYSSEY’; ‘JUSTICE LEAGUE’ Not Looking Very Likely

After turning Homer’s epic poem “The Iliad” into the 2004 film “Troy,” Warner Bros. and Brad Pitt are teaming with George Miller to adapt the Greek poet’s other masterwork, “The Odyssey.”
Their intention is to transfer the tale to a futuristic setting in outer space.
Miller remains attached to direct “Justice League” at WB.

Further confirmation that any JUSTICE LEAGUE movie is officially in developmental hell? I’m not holding my breath. Sounds like MILLER will have his hands full.
In a February 2008 THRALL WORLD posting, GEORGE MILLER was reported as being involved with the JUSTICE LEAGUE movie and was planning a 2009 release. Then in an August 2008 THRALL WORLD posting the movie seemed unlikely with WARNER BROTHERS retooling their DC comic book movies after the success of THE DARK KNIGHT.
