EMILY THE STRANGE Movie?

The Hollywood Reporter says that counterculture icon Emily the Strange is on the road to the big screen, with Dark Horse Entertainment president Mike Richardson coming on board to produce a feature film that would tell the origin of the gothic figure and her four mysterious cats. Skateboarder Rob Reger created the character in the early 1990s.

It has not been determined whether the movie will be live-action, animation, or a combination of the two.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Garbage lead singer Shirley Manson has landed a regular role next season on Fox’s “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.”

On “Sarah Connor,” produced by Warner Bros. TV, Scottish musician Manson will play Catherine Weaver, the CEO of a cutting-edge high-tech company.

Director Louis Letterier and producers Gale Anne Hurd and Kevin Feige talk about the new ‘THE INCREDIBLE HULK’ movie HERE.

ED NORTON has been noticeably absent from promotions for the new movie. Apparently Norton and director Letterier were holding out for a roughly 20+ minute longer version of the movie and the powers that be at MARVEL vetoed it. Read more about this HERE.

‘VIRTUALITY’; Another New Pilot From ‘BATTLESTAR GALACTICA’ Creator RONALD D. MOORE

James D’Arcy will play the lead in “Virtuality,” Fox’s two-hour pilot from “Battlestar Galactica” mastermind Ronald D. Moore, UMS and BermanBraun.

The sci-fi show, to be directed by Peter Berg, is set aboard the Phaeton, Earth’s first starship, on a 10-year journey to explore a distant solar system. To help the crew endure the long trip, NASA equips the ship with advanced virtual reality modules, allowing them to assume adventurous identities and go anyplace they want.

Brit D’Arcy (”Churchill at War”) will play the ship’s psych officer, who produces the virtual reality shows.

RIKKI ‘I Want Action’ ROCKETT Exonerated Of Rape Charges

Poison drummer Rikki Rockett was exonerated of a felony rape charge filed in Mississippi stemming from a September 23, 2007 incident in which a Neshoba County, Mississippi woman claimed that Rockett had forcibly raped her. Rockett was not in Mississippi during September 2007. The Neshoba County District Attorney refused to prosecute the case after determining that Rockett was not the person who committed the alleged rape.
