Chicago based Machine-Metalists MARAZENE will hit the road in July as Direct Support for WEDNESDAY 13 on select U.S. dates.

The following dates are confirmed:

July 22 — Cleveland, OH @ Peabody’s
July 23 — Mokena, IL @ Pearl Room
July 27 — St. Paul, MN @ Station 4

More dates are pending.

MARAZENE completed three national tours in 2007 with such acts as MUSHROOMHEAD, PSYCLON NINE, DEADSTAR ASSEMBLY, and THE HUMAN ABSTRACT as well as dozens of Midwestern regional tour dates in support, all under the banner 100% DIY.

MARAZENE are currently in the studio writing the follow-up to their debut album, “MachiNation”, self released on 06.06.06.

MARAZENE multi-instrumentalist and co-founder DieTrich Thrall recently issued a studio update for the band:

“We have a couple dozen really strong song ideas and we’re writing more every day. There’s plenty of new material in all different stages of development and we’re constantly bouncing riffs off of one another on whatever instrument the part calls for.

We’re aiming for a Spring ’08 Sneak Peek at live shows and other audio outlets and of course we’ll keep everyone up to speed once we have things a bit more ironed out so sit tight.”

Remember the ‘LOST BOYS’ Movie? Sequel Update

April 25, 2008

THE TRIBE Is Going Straight To DVD
Source: Coming Soon, MTV, IMDB

LOST BOYS: THE TRIBE is going straight to DVD. Which probably means it’s very very bad.

Click HERE for the trailer. I think Feldman really is a vampire since he doesn’t look like he’s aged a single minute since the original movie came out.

Release Date: July 2008 (DVD)
Studio: Warner Premiere
Director: P.J. Pesce

Starring: Tad Hilgenbrink, Autumn Reeser, Angus Sutherland, Corey Feldman, Jamison New Lander, Tom Savini, Moneca Delain, Gabrielle Rose, Corey Haim

Plot Summary: The sequel is set in the shady surf city of Luna Bay, California, where vampires quickly dispatch anyone who crosses their path. Into this dark world arrive Chris Emerson and his younger sister, Nicole. Having just lost their parents in a car accident, the siblings move in with their eccentric Aunt Jillian and become new prey for the locals’ way of life. When Nicole unwittingly falls for a local vampire, Chris must locate and destroy the gang’s lifeline before his sister’s transformation is complete; to do this Chris finds himself relying on the expertise of none other than Edgar Frog (Corey Feldman). Subtle references to characters from the original film, and cameos from returning actors offer homage to the Lost Boys legend and set a sinister tone of impending doom.
