CLOVERFIELD Opens TOMORROW (Friday)
You’re gonna want to know how it all went down…
STAR TREK Trailer To Run With CLOVERFIELD Movie
Official Star Trek Site Online

Just a default page for now but here’s the link:

With the teaser trailer for the J.J. Abrams (LOST, Cloverfield) directed Star Trek debuting in theaters with the Abrams-produced monster movie Cloverfield this weekend, Paramount Pictures has brought online the official website for the anticipated Christmas Day release. As of this posting, the site just includes the animated logo and a link to register for updates.

Star Trek stars: Zachary Quinto, Leonard Nimoy, Eric Bana, Chris Pine, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Winona Ryder, Rachel Nichols, Jennifer Morrison, Chris Hemsworth, Clifton Collins Jr., Ben Cross and Tyler Perry.

Check out that Star Trek cast. Eric Bana? I had no idea. I must’ve blinked. Zachary Quinto is SYLAR on HEROES and plays a young Spock. Simon Pegg from ‘Shaun of the Dead’ plays a young Scotty.

The recent Trek movies have been fairly disappointing so we’ll see. The hardcore fans won’t let the original series die out so they keep rehashing half ass stories about the original cast. Didn’t anything else interesting ever happen in the future?

Tomorrow I will be at a theater watching Cloverfield. Who’s in?

JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie Officially Put On Hold: Here’s Why

January 17, 2008

Justice League of America
Source: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=41010

Variety and The Hollywood Reporter have confirmed the decision to put George Miller’s Justice League on hold until the production can do a script rewrite after the writers strike ends. The cast; D.J. Cotrona, Adam Brody (The Flash), Anton Yelchin, Common (Green Lantern), Teresa Palmer (Talia Al Ghul) and Megan Gale (Wonder Woman), were on location and the crew was ready to go if they had been given the green light.

Production will have to wait until at least June, but if the writers strike (and possible Screen Actors Guild strike) continue for a long time, it could be much later.

The superhero team-up movie is expected to include Batman, Superman, The Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and the Green Lantern.
